Exterior design of a 60m² terrace
- Objectives: Create continuity with the living room of the apartment
- Spaces : coffee corner, dining area, lounge
La terrasse de cet appartement est conçue en continuité de la pièce de vie de l'appartement, ce qui est en fait un parfait exemple de l'effacement de la frontière entre intérieur et extérieur.
Le positionnement des jardinières a permis de diviser la surface de 60 m² pour déterminer trois espaces distincts :
- Le coin café à proximité de l'appartement,
- Le coin repas avec une grande table,
- Le solarium et le coin lounge, ombragé sous une pergola.
Les travaux d’aménagement paysager ont porté sur :
- La modification des revêtements du sol,
- L’installation de jardinières accueillant une sélection de végétaux présentant un intérêt décoratif en toute saison et adaptés aux conditions climatiques,
- La création d’une pergola sur mesure avec une couverture en rondins de bois, la création d'un réseau d'arrosage automatique,
- Une sélection de mobiliers et accessoires de décoration,
- La mise en lumière de la terrasse pour en faire un espace de vie de nuit comme de jour.
De jour comme de nuit et quelle que soit la saison, cet espace de vie est désormais une véritable continuité de l'appartement.

The terrace of this apartment is designed as a seamless extension of the living space, making it a perfect example of the blurring of the boundary between inside and outside.
The positioning of the planters made it possible to divide the 60 m² surface into three distinct areas:
- The coffee corner near the apartment,
- The dining area with a large table,
- The solarium and lounge corner, shaded under a pergola.
The landscaping work included:
- The modification of floor coverings,
- The installation of planters housing a selection of plants with decorative interest in all seasons and suited to the climate,
- The creation of a bespoke pergola with a log wood canopy, and the creation of an automatic irrigation system,
- A selection of furniture and decorative accessories,
- The lighting of the terrace to make it a living space by day and by night.
Day or night, whatever the season, this living space is now a true extension of the apartment.
