Un jardin entièrement à repenser. Les nouveaux propriétaires ont réalisé d'importants aménagements à l'intérieur de la maison et souhaitaient l'ouvrir sur le jardin, notamment en créant une cuisine en fond de cour.

Un bassin conçu comme un lavoir

Dans la partie la plus ensoleillée du jardin, et offrant de l'intimité, un bassin a été installé. Conçu comme un lavoir, il s'intègre parfaitement aux contraintes techniques du terrain, qui ne permettent pas de creuser en profondeur.

Situé au centre des plantations, il est bordé de végétation sur les murs et en pied, marquant le soubassement en pierre.

L'espace salon

Un espace salon a été aménagé au pied de l’olivier, avec un sol en gravier favorisant l'infiltration des eaux pluviales. Le gazon a été éliminé pour faciliter l’entretien, laissant place à des massifs et des zones minérales pour la circulation. La palette végétale a été choisie volontairement avec des espèces à faible développement dans les massifs, afin de préserver une sensation d’espace ouvert.

A garden to be entirely reimagined. The new owners had carried out significant works inside the house and wished to open it up onto the garden, notably by creating an outdoor kitchen at the back of the courtyard.

A Basin Designed as a Washhouse

In the sunniest part of the garden, offering privacy, a basin was installed. Designed in the style of a traditional washhouse, it fits perfectly with the technical constraints of the plot, which do not allow for deep excavation.

Positioned at the center of the plantings, it is bordered by vegetation on the walls and at the base, marking the stone plinth.

The Lounge Area

A lounge area was created at the foot of the olive tree, with a gravel floor promoting rainwater infiltration. The lawn was removed to facilitate maintenance, replaced by planted beds and mineral areas for circulation. The plant palette was deliberately chosen with low-growing species in the beds, so as to preserve a sense of open space.
