Renovation of a townhouse 83m ²
Les nouveaux propriétaires souhaitaient donner davantage de caractère et moderniser cette maison de ville de 83m². Le principal objectif de ce projet était d'apporter davantage de lumière à l'intérieur de la maison. L'architecte d'intérieur devait répondre à ce défi sans ajouter de nouvelles ouvertures vers l'extérieur.
Pour optimiser la lumière naturelle, l'idée principale fût d'implanter un escalier ouvert sur trois niveaux. Des fenêtres de toit et une grande ouverture verticale ont été crée pour faire passer la lumière, tout en circulant de façon homogène.
The new owners wished to give more character to and modernise this 83m² townhouse. The main objective of this project was to bring more light into the interior of the house. The interior designer had to meet this challenge without adding any new openings to the exterior.
To optimise natural light, the key idea was to install an open staircase spanning three levels. Roof windows and a large vertical opening were created to allow light to flow through while circulating in a uniform manner.
