Le salon bénéficiait d'une belle lumière et les clients avaient déjà quelques belles pièces de mobilier mais le tout manquait de personnalité et de gaité pour refléter cette joyeuse famille. La décoratrice d’intérieur a donc ajouté de la couleur : un buffet jaune et une oeuvre d'art, des coussins imprimés... et préféré mixer les chaises de designers plutôt que la série trop conventionnelle d'un seul modèle.
